So What’s This All About? …

This blog is about capturing my experiences of taking a rather run down and sad looking 60s house and turning it into a future proofed, environmentally responsible, modern home for Mark and I.

It is with some trepidation that we are embarking on this project and many friends have asked to be kept informed of progress – so the best way to do that seemed to be to set up this blog.

Now I am very new to this (sad but true) and so hope you will be patient with me as I start this journey.  Forgive me for grammatical and spelling errors and for the ramblings that this inspires.

More importantly i also hope that there will be some of you reading this blog who will have far more expertise and experience in transforming houses who will be willing to share this with us and encourage us on this journey.  Thank you so much for joining us.
